Vote for Cole's Young Citizens video on Michael Schratter and mental health awareness

Vote for Cole!What a great video by an amazing young man! Check out Cole's Young Citizens video project on Michael Schratter and his Ride Don't Hide campaign to battle mental illness stigma. If chosen as a finalist for the Young Citizen's video competition, Cole's video will be shown at this year's Governor General History Awards in Ottawa. Voting has already started so please be sure to vote and share!

To vote for the video, click the “vote” button on his profile page. You will need to supply a valid email address to vote. Only one vote from an email address is allowed. You can use the social media buttons they've provided next to each video to spread the word (if you tweet, add a #YoungCitizens)!The voting period ends August 7, 11:59 p.m.

The results of the vote will advance two students per participating province/territory to the finalist round. An additional six participants will be chosen by Canada's History based on the merits of their work. From the thirty finalists, a panel of judges will select six winning videos. These six Young Citizens will be awarded a trip for two to Ottawa to attend the Governor General’s History Awards at Rideau Hall and the National History Forum.
